Discover Card is a crappy company and very unfriendly.<br /><br />At the first of August 2009, I received some convenience checks in the mail from them. On August 15, 2009, I checked online to make sure everything was okay. The account showed open, credit line $10,000, available credit $10,000. So, I used one of the convenience checks.<br /><br />On August 18, 2009, Discover sent me a notice

This card is the only one that would not drop the interest rate. It is the least customer friendly company that I had to deal with. We, like so many others are in a financial quantry. After 25 years of relationship, they would not drop the interest rate from 22.9 %.

Just read your side bar re: selling Iphones. You are aware that you will have to pay taxes on the income you are earning doing this, right? You will declare it as miscellaneous income. Make sure you set aside about 30 percent of your profits to pay when the time comes.

Good riddance to it I say. It was my discover card that was costing me a ton of money to pay off. As soon as i cleared the balance, I chopped it up and never looked back.
