Debt Wins

I can't take it anymore, debt is winning! The bills keep coming in, the expenses keep going up. This week we had a doctor bill that was close to $800 dollars. I went ahead and paid it, it hurt. Last week it was another copay at a new doctor's office, that was $150. Financial counselor there said expect to pay $150 per month for the next few months. Then we have prescription meds, they also have copay's so there went another $100. This week I also had to take care of a speeding ticket and that set me back $150. I am done. Debt you win, I can't pay you down right now.

I know I always talk about life happening and it does, if it's not one thing it's another. This week I have another expensive birthday and I'm thinking this one's going to set me back $400. I need to fix the brakes on my car, that will probably cost $300 dollars. We have our HOA fees coming up in November that will set us back $850. I'm waiting for stuff to go out around the house. I'm constantly inspecting the washer and dryer or the water heater.

Work is killing and not helping with the stress. It's me and eight girls in my team and I'm surrounded by them. I sit in the center by a window, they're all around me. Did you know that ladies love to gossip and say things like 'could you come by my desk and help me complete this task'. They also talk on the phone about  personal stuff UGH! I don't want to hear every phone conversation you have.  I know, be lucky you have a job that keeps you up til midnight every night and wants you in the office every morning no later than nine.

The plan? there is no plan or goals right now. I can't take it anymore. I'm going to do the things I love. I'm going to continue working out. This week I'm going to sign up for a 5K race and take out all my anger and stress on the race. After this race I'm going to drink alcohol! Yes I don't care right now! I'm in that selfish, self-destructive state of mind. I hope to be back soon with a different attitude but for now I need a break...

I Love Bill Me Later

As some of you know, I love to shop on Ebay and pay with PayPal. Recently I've seen a new feature where you can check out using Bill Me Later. Basically it works like a credit card but it's not really plastic and can only be used online. A lot of merchants also offer Bill Me Later at checkout and all you need is your birthday and the the last 4 digits of your SSN. Fast, simple and I'm not adding any more debt to the Citi card which used to be linked to PayPal.

It also gives me a $500 dollar limit so I can't get in trouble. I probably only charge $100 at the most but I love the convenience and there are not fees. Below is what the account looks like, as you can see someone had some fun shopping on Ebay last month:

Steve Jobs

I was very sad last night when I heard the news about Steve Jobs. This person was an idol, a hero and an inspiration in my life. I've always been the Apple person in the family and the one with the all the Apple stuff around the house. Let's see, 3 Macs, 2 iPads, 8 iPhones, 5 iPods, 1 Apple TV and plenty of accessories to go with all that. Think Different.

Back On Body For Life

Today I'm going back on Body for Life. The 12 week Body-for-LIFE program consists of exercise and dieting 6 days a week and a free day with no exercise or eating restrictions. I think I struggle a lot with my weight. I see myself as 'overweight' but most people say I look great. I don't think I eat bad I just can't control how much I eat. I also have to constantly exercise so I don't put on a lot of weight. My weight today is 185 pounds. I'm hoping to drop 10 pounds in 12 weeks with target goal around 170.

This post is more to keep me motivated and to remind me of this challenge. Picture below of people that completed the 12 week challenge, check out the transformations:

Bank Of America Website Problems

Bank  of America is down!! This is not good! All of our accounts are there and I can't transfer any money or look at what cleared. I never thought this would happen, what if this is an emergency and I really need cash? Normally I would transfer  money over the iPhone app and just get cash at the ATM but right now I can't access any of our accounts!

Don't even get me started about the $5 dollar fee per debit card. With all our accounts that would I mean I would have to pay $30 per month just to have debit cards?
