As most of you all know this is not a "live frugal" blog... reason why you see so many crazy charges from time to time. At the same time, notice the payments and credits. Most of the money is paid back, of course sometime we're left with a little bit of a balance- in this case $4,047 dollars!
The sad part is I can't tell you where most of this money went. We probably charged closed to $25,000 dollars between Citi and Discover over the last couple of years. I think the blog description fits every time: 'This blog is about the struggles to have self control with credit cards, and the joys of paying them off'.
Have a good weekend!

I think you're doing great! Life is short but you are having a good time and still paying off debt. There's a balance and it looks like you've found it. Keep doing what you're doing. Have fun responsibly. ;-)
Kelly!
I did find that balance :)

DUDE!! What happened?????
So glad to hear you are making progress paying off credit card debt. Credit card debt can run over your financial future like a freight train. Have you ever thought of using the 'snow ball' effect or a similar form? Focus on paying one debt down first and then take what you were paying on the debt that is now paid off to pay on the next debt and so on. Try to pay on debts with highest interest rates first and try to go after the "low hanging fruit' account balances first and then snowball from there. You can do it!
I was wondering if your wife is going back to work after baby, if not you need a new plan to live on one income? Why not start doing that now and use her income for savings and debt only!
Even if she is going back to work childcare is about $800 a month for an infant. (in my area anyway.) Daycare centers are about $250 a week, and in homes are about $150-$200 a week. Private nanny is $300-$500 per week depending on live in or out, etc.
She will go back to work... not sure about day care etc... way too far to think about stuff like that!!
