You Asked For It

I cut up the Citi Thank You card, it was painful but some of you asked for it. I swear I'm addicted to credit cards. Goodbye $23,000 credit line:

I only had one card, I never added the wife to this account. She still carries the Citi Forward card, maybe that one is next to be cut up. Discover is locked up, haven't charged anything to that account in months.

Have a good weekend.

I'm new to your blog but have been looking through your earlier posts with interest. I'm really pulling for you, but it looks like you're off to a strong start this time. Good luck.

Now don't order another one to replace. I have done that. Also if it is linked to anything (paypal, etc.) go to those sites and remove that card (I just accidentantlly charged something on my cut up card that way because it was still on my paypal.) I have the cash so will just pay it on card.

Great job!!!

I think you have done the right thing - if the card is cleared you can't be tempted by 0% transfer rates cos' you have nothing to transfer!!
Becky R's comment is also a good one, I also got caught out but it was a payment to my seller account that I hadn't updated.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Ok admit it: It's scary but also kind of exhilarating. I bet your scissors are dying to get some more plastic in their teeth now!

You're a little freer every time. I'm so happy for you. I really think you are setting yourself up for good things my friend. Keep it up.

Good for you! And I think I almost choked when I saw the $23,000 credit limit! Craziness. No one needs that much credit. Yikes!
