Anyone notice Blogger going on PTO for close to 24 hours?! I could not access my account to post or check some of the blogs I follow. Hmmm, another reason to dump Google? and maybe move to Wordpress? I'm more of an Apple fan and lately it seems like Google is trying to become Apple... Not very happy with them right now.
Any thoughts? is Wordpress better? is it free like Google's blogger?
UPDATE- Just noticed some comments are missing, I remember posting them but I don't see them now, sorry if you don't see your comment, not sure if Blogger will bring them back.

google blogger is free. can't complain with free items, now, can we? they had a computer glitch. brought as much back as possible. yes, some comments got lost. don't you have the comments emailed to you? if so, that's your back up. copy and paste them back on.
i believe wordpress requires a fee. for the 3 years i've been using google blogger, the 1 time they were down, is fine with me. yeah, it was a downer but it could have been worse.....like they lost ALL our data.
I back up my blog to a separate hard drive. plus, i have copies of all my entries.

Wordpress is free. I've been using it for 3-4 years now and love it.
You can post pictures, etc all for free. If you use up your space you can buy an upgrade, but most of it is completely free. I've never paid for anything while using it.
