Look Who's Back

DEBT IS BACK! Credit card debt moved back in to our house. I know, our lifestyle is to blame but we need to focus on paying this down. I'm I worried? No, we been here before. When I started this blog I had close to $16,000 balance on credit cards alone so the numbers you see below don't worry me one bit.

Discover Card:

Citi Forward:

Like I said, we can pay this off. We've been there and done that in the past we were 'Credit Card Debt Free' on April 4, 2009:

Wish me luck as I pay down these balances, it won't be fun.

Good luck! You've done it once and you can do it again :)

How, and why, did you rack up another almost $9K of credit card debt? I'm so very confused. I've tried to find a breakdown on your blog of your fixed, monthly expenses- car, mortgage, insurance, etc- and I can't. As a result, because the two of you make a 6 figure income, it is so very hard for me to understand where you are coming from and why this keeps happening.

Maybe you need to just go really hard core for a little while and cut out EVERYTHING. When I was paying off my credit card, I cut EVERYTHING and had no fun at all until it was paid in full. We're talking cable, and Netflix alcohol, eating out, manicures...you name it, it went.

Now, the thought of going into cc debt again is so awful because I know what it really takes to get our and I know I'll NEVER do it again.

Just an idea..

Bad news to be back in debt. That's never fun. Good news is you've successfully gotten out of debt before so you know how to do it.

But as Cortney said, you really should take a look at why this keeps happening.

Oh no, not again! You definitely need to get a hobby in your free time that doesn't cost any money...

But, you know the drill and what you have to do! Good luck!!!

I agree. Our lifestyles tend to make us overspend and there goes our credit card bills. Good lucky, though. You surpassed it before, so, you'll do great!
