Discover Credit Limit

Our Discover Card credit limit has gone up by almost $2,000. I'm surprised to see this change since most credit card companies are actually cutting limits and cutting back on rewards. We've had this account for 9 years and they have never adjusted our available credit. I wonder if we did something or if they are trying to get us back in to debt:



Discover is a decent credit card, they constantly send us 10% off coupons for stores like Best Buy or restaurants like Red Lobster and Olive Garden. They also have the best cash back rewards program and great customer service. I truly can't get rid of this card, we always struggle to go the cash only route but I know I would miss my credit cards.

Even one of my previous readers, Christy once said:

"This blog should be re-named the "Ongoing Discover Card Saga Blog". ;)"

That same week another reader commented:

"Hey everyone, look at me! I make over $100,000 a year, and I'm worried about $26 in rewards!"

I think I just have some strange addiction to credit cards and their rewards, is there a credit card rehab?!
