Discover Gift Card
We are one step closer to closing Discover, I decided to get a $25 gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond for $20. I'm going to forget about the rest of the cash back money, I will probably lose $6 dollars:

So proud of you! I have one quetions looking at your spending it seems you eat out alot. How much do you actually spend? Do you budget that? Do you grocery shop and brown bag sometimes? Just a suggestions. Congrats again on no Discover card.

I love to cook so we do eat at home a lot, I also try to bring lunch but many days I just don't have time to make it or I have to entertain clients!

i am new to your blog so maybe i missed something buy why would you close your discover account? that will hurt your credit score......can't you just decide to use it for one purpose such as gas or something every few months? i'm not sure what the benefit to closing it is.
