I went out last night and celebrated St. Patty's day, we had lots of green beer and great food. When the bill came I put it on my Professional card. What was I thinking? This morning I felt a little guilty so I decided to cut up my CITI Professional card, I will never use it again. This is what it looks like now:
It was only $79, not a lot of damage but I need to stop using credit in order to get out of debt!

Good job, HS! I wish I could bring myself to cut mine up, but I just can't do it. Doesn't change the good feeling I get when I see a bunch of em in pieces, though! ;)

The day that I chopped up my credit cards was THE DAY that my bride and I started winning financially!
That was over five years ago. We have been debt free for four years and one month! Our house will be paid off in less than three years.
All because we decided to chop up our Capital One cards and put together a written spending plan every single month!
